This Legacy Arts program was a five-week life collage program held at the Society for the Advancement of Judaism on the Upper West Side. Participants used inspiration taken from their own lives in combination with weekly themes introduced by teaching artist Emily Abramson, to create dramatic, colorful, vibrant, and complex collages each week.
Check out hand-built clay sculptures, created over the course of 18-weeks by Cypress Hills elders. You’ll see sculptures inspired by personal stories, memories and life experiences in this special exhibition. Entertainment and refreshments are included.
